I was born June 30 1946 in Greenfield, Ohio, which is half way between Chillicothe and Washington Court House.
I grew up in Huntington, West Virginia and Graduated from Huntington High School at 17. Attended Marshall University and then moved to Chicago to go to electronics school.
I entered the Air Force, and after graduating from basic training at Lackland AFB, in San Antonio, I went to Airborne Radio school at Keesler AFB in Biloxi, Mississippi. My first assignment was Clark AB in the Philippines and went TDY to Viet Nam and Taiwan. My final assignment was George AFB in California.
I went to Computer Technology School in Arlington, Virginia after getting out of the Air Force. Upon graduation, I went to work for Control Data Corporation installing and repairing computer systems across the United states. Never made it to Hawaii or Maine.
I met and married my wife of 45 years in Oklahoma while doing a computer installation at Tinker AFB. We traveled the US and then settled down in Ogden, Utah while I worked at Hill, AFB. Our daughter Michelle was born in Ogden.
We transferred to Dallas, Texas in 1975 and settled in Richland Hills and have been here for 42 years.
I was laid off from Control Data after 22 years and then went to work for RadioShack in their product development department. I retired from there after 18 years.
We started attending Baker Boulevard Church of Christ in 1989. I have been the treasurer, deacon and now an elder.
My full time vocation now is working for our Lord in whatever capacity I can.
